West Sacramento, CA (MPG) - The City of West Sacramento is hosting the semi-annual bulky waste drop-off event Thursday, September 17th through Saturday, September 19th, 2015. West Sacramento residents can drop off bulky items free of charge to 540 Harbor Blvd. between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Acceptable items include furniture, mattresses and box springs, cardboard, and tires (nine tire per trip limit). Proof of West Sacramento residency, city utility bill, or driver’s license is required to enter the site. If you are a senior (age 65 or older) or a resident with a disability, you qualify for a free bulky waste pick-up appointment. Please call (916) 617-4589 for more information.

Wood and green waste is not accepted at the clean-up event and may be recycled at the Yolo County Central Landfill using the landfill voucher included in the August residential utility bill. The voucher is valid for one residential load of wood and/or green waste or garbage.
