West Sacramento City Manager Martin Tuttle selected Amanda Berlin to serve as the city’s replacement Assistant City Manager. Berlin started on October 12th. She replaces Carol Richardson, who retired after 28 years of service to the city.
Berlin most recently served as Senior Counsel at Remy Moose Manley, LLP in Sacramento, where since 2006, she has advised a variety of public and private agencies on environmental, land use planning, transportation, and business issues. A longtime resident of West Sacramento, Berlin has an environmental engineering degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is member of the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar.
“Amanda brings a unique skillset to our staff,” said Tuttle. “Given the amount of new development in the City, she comes to the position at a perfect time.”
Berlin says she is looking forward to working at City Hall. “Having lived in West Sacramento for more than 10 years, I’m excited to bring my background and experience to the city and to be a part of this community’s continued growth and development.”
