WOODLAND, CA (MPG) - The State of California is providing a second OptumServe site for Yolo County that will be shared between West Sacramento and Winters to provide additional COVID-19 testing opportunities to residents starting January 12 for the entire month.
On Mondays – Thursdays from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., the site will be open in West Sacramento at Club West, located at 1125 Riverbank Road. On Fridays from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., the site will be in Winters at the Winters Community Center, located at 201 Railroad Avenue. Both locations may be open longer with a possible extension. For West Sacramento and Winters, residents will need to make an appointment by calling: (888) 634-1123 or going online at: https://lhi.care/covidtesting. There may be some delays in receiving test results due to the high volume of tests being processed.
Testing at these two sites is free and open to all California residents, regardless of documentation status and all ages are welcome. If residents do not have health insurance, the cost of the test will be covered by the state. If residents have health insurance, their provider will be billed with no out of pocket cost to the resident.
The first OptumServe site is still running in Yolo County at the portable building next to the Juvenile Detention Facility, located at 2780 E. Gibson Road in Woodland. In Yolo County, residents must wear a face covering and practice physical distancing. These sites are not drive through so residents will need to park their car and walk a short distance to the building.
